  • Enterprise Estonias practical strategy training

Client: Enterprise Estonia

A practical program that combines group trainings and mentoring targeted to exporting companies. As a result participants will have compiled a strategy up until 2020 with prognosis for sales, finances and a development plan. Our role: project management, finding participants, coordinating trainings and mentoring.

  • Enterprise Estonias business model practical training (newer)

Client: Enterprise Estonia

A practical program that combines group trainings and mentoring targeted to exporting companies. As a result participants will have altered their business models or generated an entirely new one including prognosis for sales, profit and balance plus a step-by-step plan how to achieve all they have planned. Our role: project management, finding participants, coordinating trainings and mentoring.

  • Mentoring service for companies in Enterprise Estonias development program 

Client: Enterprise Estonia

Our role: project management and delivering the mentoring services for companies submitted into the program. The aim of mentoring service is to help companies in making of their development plans or executing their development plans. 80 companies are estimated to use the mentoring service. 

  • Training project regarding Estonias EU Presidency “Horizontal Training for the  Estonian Presidency of the Council of the European Union”

Tellija: Estonian School of Diplomacy, The Ministry of Finance

Our role: project management of different trainings preparing for the presidency in a consortium  with Centre for Political & Diplomatic Studies (CPDS), European Social, Legal and Economic Projects (ESTEP) and ESD.

  • Enterprise Estonias Business Mentor Program

Client: Enterprise Estonia

Our role: finding mentees and mentors and managing the whole project. Mentees are starting companies who start working together with mentors (experienced entrepreneurs). Together they go through a program that consists of different workshops, mentoring sessions and other activities including consulting with foreign market experts. 

  • Diagnostics service for companies in Enterprise Estonias development program 

Client: Enterprise Estonia

Our role: project management and delivering the diagnostics services for companies submitted into the program. The aim of business diagnostics is to map the starting position of companies before preparing their development plan. Experts carry through diagnostics in four areas (development, strategy, marketing and sales, production and services). For example in 2016 we carried through 61 diagnostics.

  • Enterprise Estonias business basics training for starting entrepreneurs

Client: Enterprise Estonia

We are conducting a substantial training program for new entrepreneurs, in collaboration with Enterprise Estonia. The training program deals with business model development. We will carry out 26 – 30 training sessions in all 15 counties in Estonia, and talk to 600 new entrepreneurs about starting a business. Our role: preparing the training program, coordinating the work of trainers, managing the program.

  • Competitions “Estonias best mobile application 2014” ja “Estonias best mobile application 2016”

Client: Estonian Information System Authority (RIA)

Our role: development of the competition concept, project management, project information distribution in cooperation with KPMS and Partners. The Estonian Information System Authority organizes an annual competition to determine the best mobile applications recently created in Estonia. The aim of the competition is to introduce innovative and useful mobile applications and to acknowledge their creators.

  • Hurtigruten CRC transition project consultations 2016

Client: Hurtigruten Estonia

Our role: project management and consultation in various business related issues.

  • Student VC project for startups 

Client: Estonian Development Fund

Our role: Student VC project management. 6 startups participated. Training such as business model, marketing, lean canvas, pitching, finances. Arranging mentoring for startups.

  • Enterprise Estonias development program for small companies

Client: FCG Invicta

Our role: marketing and sales to find participants, project management, project related communication, arranging trainings in Tallinn and Tartu. The project was carried through for many years.

  • Regional days of Entrepreneurship

Client: Enterprise Estonia

Our role:  15 entrepreneurship days held in each county across Estonia. The slogan was “People do business”. We arranged everything from marketing communications to management and carrying through each inspirational day. 

  • Enterprise Estonia product development master class

Client: Enterprise Estonia

Our role: preparing the development program, conducting sales, coordinating the work of trainers and coaches, program management. We are carrying out a development program for exporting manufacturing companies, in collaboration with Enterprise Estonia. The aim of the program is to help companies create new competitive product solutions and innovative business models. The development program includes training sessions, company visits and implementing development projects under the supervision of coaches.

  • Smart-up Georgia collaboration project between Estonia and Georgia

Client: a cooperation project initiated by BDA Consulting and 15 Georgian universities. The project is funded by the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Our role: elaboration of the project concept and execution of the project. The project involves a nationwide entrepreneurship competition, in which we will collect the innovative business ideas of Georgian youths and use training sessions and mentoring to provide the teams with initial skills and experience to develop and carry out their business ideas.

  • TSU School of Entrepreneurship Estonian-Georgian cooperation project

Client: a cooperation project initiated by BDA Consulting with Tbilisi State University. The project is funded by the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Our role: development of the project concept and execution of the project. The aim of the project is to improve the entrepreneurial awareness of the students of Tbilisi State University, and to encourage them to become entrepreneurs through an inspiring and competitive program. Over the course of the project we have carried out an inspiration seminar and training program, along with a study trip to Estonia.

  • Competitions „ Estonia’s best e-service 2013“ ja „ Estonia’s best e-service 2015“

Client: Estonian Information System Authority (RIA)

Our role: project management, execution of project information activities in cooperation with KPMS and Partners, conducting the inspiration seminar, coordinating the selection process of winners, etc. The Estonian Information System Authority arranges a biannual competition to determine the best new Estonian e-services of recent years. The aim of the competition is to introduce and acknowledge innovative Estonian e-services and their clients and producers in the public and private sectors, and to motivate service providers to keep developing useful new solutions.

  • StartSmart! Estonian-Finnish entrepreneurship program

Client: a cooperation project among BDA Consulting, Enterprise Estonia (EAS), the Estonian Development Fund, Aalto University (Finland) and Technopolis Ülemiste AS. The project is funded by Interreg IV A Program.

Our role: project concept development, project management. The goal of the project is to facilitate the creation of innovative and internationally competitive start-up companies. In order to achieve this goal, we are arranging a number of seminars and conferences for people in Estonia and Finland who are interested in entrepreneurship, in which we will introduce start-up success stories and invite expert speakers and opinion leaders in the start-up field to give talks. In addition, the project aims to foster cooperation between the people of Estonia and Finland and organizations involved in the development of start-up companies.

  • Ajujaht entrepreneurship competition 2007–2012

Client: Enterprise Estonia

Our role: development of the contest concept and format, project management. The Ajujaht contest is Estonia’s most prominent entrepreneurship contest, and aims to gather innovative business ideas from young people and help them proceed from ideas to creating and launching their own enterprises through development programs and mentoring. We were in charge of arranging the contest from its birth in 2007 until spring 2012. During that time we inspired over 6,000 young people, gathered and analysed over 2,500 business ideas and trained over 1,000 people in total.

  • National funding rearrangement program for NGOs

Client: Ministry of Internal Affairs

Our role: planning and carrying out the program activities, coordinating the compilation of guideline materials, conducting the meetings of the working group. The aim of the program for rearranging the national funding of citizen unions was to create a unified system for the national funding of citizen unions and to strengthen civil society. The program consisted of three major activities: the formulation of uniform funding principles, the development of guideline materials together with sample documents; and the arrangement of training for the implementation of those guideline materials.

  • Administrative management for the Estonian Logistics Cluster

Client: Estonian Logistics and Transit Association

Our role: BDA’s role was to support the team of the Logistics Cluster in the project’s financial management, accounting and document management, and in compiling the project’s reporting to Enterprise Estonia. The Estonian Logistics Cluster is a joint project that focuses on the international marketing of its members, the promotion of Estonia’s logistic advantages in target markets, product development that encompasses available resources, logistics-related educational issues, and the cooperation of companies in the field of information technology. The Logistics Cluster development project received financial aid from the Enterprise Estonia cluster development program.

  • Best practices for Integration and Migration Foundation

Client: Integration and Migration Foundation “Meie inimesed” (Our people)

Our role: compilation of the program, project management, arrangement of activities, involving experts. The goal of the project is to support and offer input for the new national integration plan and for the elaboration of its implementation program. The know-how in the integration sphere has been obtained from development seminars in Ida-Virumaa and south east Estonia, and from a study trip to the Czech Republic.

  • Tourism destination management development program

Client: Enterprise Estonia

Our role: training project management, coordinating the compilation of the training program, preparing guideline materials in cooperation with external experts. In 2012, Enterprise Estonia commissioned BDA Consulting OÜ, in cooperation with a consultancy partner from UK, to conduct a development program for tourism destination management, which involved training modules for approximately 60 people totalling 96 academic hours, and a 5-day study trip to Slovenia. Guideline materials for destination management were compiled as a result of the project.

  • Cluster manager training program

Client: Enterprise Estonia

Our role: compiling and conducting the training program in cooperation with foreign partners, project management. The goal of the project was to provide cluster managers with the knowledge and skills to analyze their common ideas and prepare the cooperation projects necessary for strategic cooperation. The training program consisted of three modules and a study trip. The program was carried out in cooperation with foreign partners.

  • Accelerated internationalization of Tehnopol’s customer enterprises

Client: Tallinn Science Park Tehnopol

Our role: compiling and conducting the program in cooperation with external experts; project management. We conducted a training program that involved the following topics: presentation of the company; from funding opportunities to sales; and the role of the manager in an evolving organization. We provided consultations on tactical plans and action plans, and also study trips to San Jose, California; Paris, France; Bulgaria and Romania.
